I started PT with the Gaylord team back in June, with the goal of getting back to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after tearing my distal biceps tendon in a tournament in April. I knew I was in the right place when they conducted the initial evaluation and indicated that they would be adding in full body workouts into my physical therapy routine to get me back so I would be ready to participate again when my arm was fully healed. My sessions with my main therapist Eric and the rest of the Gaylord team were top notch. Eric tailored my sessions to give me an aggressive conditioning and strength regimen at therapy, that also allowed me to work out at home too, which sped my total body recovery. Eric also tuned up some of my lifting mechanics, fixing a serious deficiency I had in one of my movements, to make sure I won't be back from a lifting injury. I was able to return to BJJ the second week of August, two months ahead of the date I was given pre-op. I am thrilled with the results of my time with Eric and the Gaylord team. Thank you all! The Cheshire location is fantastic. After 2 ankle surgeries, and poor experiences at other PT places, Yarden is the best PT around! The assistants are also great. Everyone is kind and helpful. Yarden is always encouraging and supportive, and I have made more progress here than at any other PT place. I 100% would recommend Gaylord PT to anyone in need of post op rehab.

Went to Gaylord in Cheshire after my second neck surgery to reduce my neck pain and gain my movement back. The experience was amazing. Eric S was great to work with. The whole team really. In the end I was able to get back 90%+ of range of movement. More than even the doctors thought I’d get. Go there. You won’t be disappointed. Ask for Eric S.

I started coming here as a post-op orthopedic patient about a year ago, the entire bottom of my tibia had a pylon fracture, and I had a series of four extensive reconstructive surgeries. I have metal grafted to my tibia, my ankle has been permanently impaired, and when I showed up to Gaylord for the first time I was in a wheelchair. My healing process was always going to be long, but Yarden has made that recovery significantly more bearable. She gives fantastic advice, really listens to your needs, and bonds with her patients. My recovery had a long roadmap and was very complex, and not once did she back down from the challenge. Yarden is a truly fantastic physical therapist, and I would encourage any orthopedic patients to ask for her. I highly recommend signing up here if you need any PT.

I most enthusiastically recommend Eric S and Cheshire Physical Therapy for anyone looking to come out stronger after a tough surgery, just as I did this past January after a total shoulder replacement. I was happy with my post op progress and then along came Covid19 and in person PT was put on hold. Eric S gave me home exercises and kept in touch by phone until we both felt it was safe to come back for in-person training. And I'm glad I did! Gaylord has amazing physical therapists and equipment to help me recover fully after my knee surgery. Kayla had such a high level of expertise and gave me so many new exercises to always keep rehab exciting. I would absolutely recommend Gaylord PT to anyone wanting to get stronger!
