Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is anchored by Gaylord Hospital, a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH), and includes Gaylord Outpatient Services and Gaylord Physical Therapy for patients who require diagnosis and treatment on an outpatient basis. Gaylord Outpatient Services is located on the Gaylord Hospital campus in Wallingford, Conn., and serves patients with multi-faceted medical conditions that require interdisciplinary care. Gaylord Outpatient Services features programs for neurological physical therapy (treatment of movement problems related to the nervous system, such as stroke), and for cognitive issues. With nearly 30 programs overall, Gaylord Outpatient Services seeks to restore mobility and function for every patient served. New patients are welcome to schedule a consultation.
